Prologue.

“Four thousand years ago, the fate of Alishan’s sacred tree was solely based on the seed that fell into the nourished soil.” The value of the land determines the growth of the plants. The temperature and humidity of the alpine air, the range of sunlight exposure, and the fertile soil without human interferences can strengthen trees. The geographical environment affects the appearance of the tree and its characteristic are closely related to the connection with Earth.

We build everything prudently around the concept.

Sheng Lin deliberated on how to incorporate architectural aesthetics to reflect and conform the landform, in order to stay harmonious to the environment on creating a valuable home. We take into careful considerations to develop our public areas and greening ecosystem, and also accentuate on nearby functionalities, transportations, superb school district, residential density, population and other factors to grow potential areas. In light of providing the most suitable lifestyle for our residents, we multi-evaluated the land of its past, present and future value.

Our concept is to shape a building similar to an artificial tree that has been broken out of the ground, which not only nurtures life, but also allows the land to live up its potential. We prudently chosen our lands to incubate, within the structure and above the soil to achieve a sustainable community. That is the basis of Sheng Lin.
